MODULAR FLEXIBILITY:
The new VAS 6150 is integrated with existing,modular VAS technologies. As with the current VAS 5052A, the VAS 6150 communicates wirelessly with vehicle systems via the VAS 5054A Diagnostic Transmitter Head, using Bluetooth® technology and dedicated EDIC (tester-to-vehicle) communication software. When performing SVM updates that require a large volume of data transfer to a vehicle module, a cabled connection to the VAS 5054A is possible via USB 2.0 ports. USB 2.0 communication is also possible with the VAS 6356 Measuring Technology Box (future option). The result is ease of use due to familiarity with existing VAS diagnostic systems.
